Music Fest XIV
Another Music Fest has been wrapped up and plans are already underway for next year’s Fest to be held July 11 & 12, 2008. We have booked Spike & The Bulldogs for our Friday night band. The success of Music Fest is contributed to the many individuals and businesses who provide support whether financial or their time. A special thanks to this year’s committee: Lori Masters, Kathy Parsons, Hope Wilson, Angie Schemahorn, Jeanie Eichler, Chris Snyder, Steve Brown, Jerry Jackson, Lon Keyes, Linda Fulton, and Chris Baker. As we begin to plan next year’s Fest, please feel free to contact the Chamber office if you would like to volunteer or have suggestions.

The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce will be having their 14th annual Music Fest on July 11and 12, 2008. The parade will be on Saturday July 12th beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The main theme for this year’s parade will be the “Music Medley”. We encourage you to use the music theme for your float. You may have walkers hand out items such as brochures, candy, etc. However, they should not throw candy from their vehicles. The parade route will be the same as in the past: begin behind the Fremont Elementary School, north on Bell Street, east on Toledo Street, south on Tillotson Street, west on Albion Street, and ending back at the Fremont Elementary School.
The Chamber is very excited with the growth of the parade! We hope you join us on July 11th and 12th for fun, food and Music, (Spike and the Bulldogs on Friday night) and of course, the PARADE!

Annual Golf Outing
The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce held their 7th Annual Golf Outing on Sunday, June 1st, 2008 at the Country Meadows Golf Resort. A full field teed off at 2:00pm for a Florida Scramble outing. The traveling Chamber Trophy (given to the lowest scoring Chamber Member team) was won by Team Country Meadows. Winners were; 1st place – Team Country Meadows, 2nd place Team Ed Johnson, 3rd place Team Rugiono’s and 4th place Team Ingledue Construction. The Chamber would like to congratulate all the winners and thank all the sponsors for making this year’s event a huge success.

FREMONT’S DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION PLAN
Please look over the Downtown Revitalization Plan currently being studied for the downtown area of Fremont. The area to be studied includes Toledo Street from Coffin Street to Mill Street and Wayne Street from Spring Street to Albion Street. Some of the goals and objectives of the study, as well as the information about various elements of the project that DZL consulting will anaylsis and ask for the public input are:
